When Love Feels Lost

I want to write a symphony with my fingers

Paint the horizon through my words

Show you the color of my emotions

The pain of my heart

The love in my eyes

The wind at my back and sand between my toes

I want to tell you that it is well within my soul

That I have been lifted up out of my own trap

I want to tell you that there is pain in growth

And that there is growth in pain

You see if you are not living your dying

And the same goes with growing

Life feeds on life and love feeds on growth

I want you to see the tears that fall to the ground

Making this puddle for you to splash on your way to the exit

I want you to have those tears on your feet

Like a constant reminder that growth is living

And pain is a rainbow

For with every rainbow I am a new man

And with every new man I am one step closer to god

And all those tears that once were pain are now tears of joy.
